Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Appointment Cancellation by Patient

Patients may cancel an appointment or home sample collection request by contacting our diagnostic desk:

• Before Technician Departure: If you cancel before our phlebotomist has departed for your residence in Gaya Ji, your booking is cancelled with zero cancellation fee.
• Walk-in Appointment: If you schedule an in-person test at our GB Road laboratory but are unable to visit, you may reschedule or cancel at any time prior to blood/sample collection at no charge.

2. Cancellations by Laboratory

Arogyasevam Labs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment in the following clinical scenarios:

• Inadequate Fasting: If an investigation requires 10–12 hours of fasting and the patient has consumed food or caloric beverages within the fasting window, the technician will postpone collection to safeguard analytical accuracy.
• Unsafe Field Conditions: Severe weather, road inaccessibility, or safety concerns in specific localities may require rescheduling the home collection visit.
• Medical Feasibility: If venipuncture cannot be safely completed due to clinical contraindications, the patient will be advised to visit the laboratory counter or a hospital facility.

3. Sample Re-Collection Guarantee (Zero Cost)

We maintain rigorous quality control protocols. Occasionally, biological anomalies may affect sample viability:

• Sample Inadequacy / Haemolysis: If a drawn blood specimen undergoes spontaneous in-vitro haemolysis, lipaemia interference, or insufficient sample volume (Quantity Not Sufficient — QNS), Arogyasevam Labs will perform a fresh sample re-collection at 100% zero additional cost.
• Technical Recalibration: In rare cases where clinical faculty requires a confirmatory repeat run to ensure high accuracy, the repeat test is conducted at no extra charge to the patient.
• Patient Declining Re-collection: If the patient declines a necessary sample re-draw, the fee collected for that specific unperformed test parameter will be refunded in full.

4. Refund Processing & Timelines

Since payments for diagnostic tests are collected in person (Cash, UPI, Card):

• Cash Payments: Eligible cash refunds are disbursed directly at our laboratory reception desk upon verification of the original payment receipt.
• UPI / Digital Payments: Eligible refunds for digital transactions are reversed to the original remitting UPI ID or bank account within 3 to 5 business days.
• Receipt Requirement: Patients must present the original paper receipt or digital booking reference issued by Arogyasevam Labs when claiming any refund.
